One Drop, A Million Hopes: K10 Blood Heroes 2.0 Programme Receives Support from UPM Community
Serdang, 16 May 2026 – The K10 Blood Heroes 2.0 programme organised by Sekretariat Kesukarelawanan dan Pengantarabangsaan (SKYECare) was successfully held at Galeri Fakulti Kejuruteraan, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The programme, which took place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., was a collaboration with Pihak Pengurusan Kolej Sepuluh, Kesatuan Mahasiswa (KM), Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar (BHEP) and Pusat Darah Negara (PDN).
This programme aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation as an effort to save lives and help increase the blood supply in hospitals. In addition, this activity also fostered the spirit of volunteerism and concern among UPM students.
The programme activities included venue preparation sessions, the arrival of representatives from Pusat Darah Negara (PDN), and blood donation activities held throughout the day. A total of 85 participants consisting of Kolej Sepuluh students and UPM students participated in this campaign.
This programme created a significant impact on the community by increasing awareness about blood donation, while also producing students with a volunteer spirit and social responsibility. Overall, K10 Blood Heroes 2.0 successfully achieved its objectives in promoting a healthy lifestyle and instilling humanitarian values among the university community.
